The DH Facility offers in collaboration with a winter nursery located in Chile the production of DH0 seed within one year. Please refer to our timetable, when planning your DH project. An example is given for some average numbers in the production of 100 DH lines in field corn. In short, you can calculate with 2 to 2.5 donor seeds needed per requested DH line. Depending on your donor material it might be necessary to increase the number of induction crosses (if the induction rate is known to be low). Contact us in time to discuss your specific needs.
